Daniel Ricardo Teran received his BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute, and was the studio assistant for Victor Babu, and painter Ron Slowinsky, as well as teaching assistant for Jane Shellenbarger and George Timock. He has a strong understanding of simple to complex mold making technology, various vessel and sculptural forming techniques, and ceramic materials. Primarily a ceramic artist, Daniel is also a skilled sculptor, painter, photographer, and print maker. Currently he is an artist in residence and teacher at Pottery Northwest.
