For 9-15 year olds
Learn wheelthrowing and handbuilding basics in this inclusive class. Using wheel thrown parts, clay slabs, and hand-pulled handles, we’ll create trays, cups and other useful things. Everyone likes to celebrate! Make a candelabra for the holiday table, a special bowl to serve your favorite food in, or napkin rings that express your family’s personalities with. We’ll have lots of fun telling stories and make things to make your celebrations special.

Do you wish you lived in a teepee? How about a skyscraper? Whatever your fantasy house, we’ll explore those ideas in this fun and interactive class. We’ll make things to take home, as well as a collaborative project that we’ll offer at our auction next spring. If you’ve been in the kids classes here before, or have had experience in school, this class will build on those skills. Bring your imagination and dress to mess.
